‘Embracing languages to become confident communicators, overcome boundaries and champion diversity’
In the faculty of Languages, we embed enthusiasm and develop confidence throughout KS3 and KS4, to create ambitiously skilled linguists. At KS3 we build up the key foundation skills essential to master language learning and development, so that our students can become creative linguists. We emphasise the importance and relevance of communication, culture and communities. We are preparing students to develop great awareness of the world, and the need for interpersonal skills in order to become global citizens. Through in-depth delivery and focused learning, we wish for our students to be motivated in their language learning and pursue it further at KS5, and potentially beyond, opening up further opportunities for this specialised skill.
