In the faculty of Computing, Business and Digital Information Technology, we have the ambition for all our students to engage in and achieve highly in a wide range of experiences within our diverse curriculum at both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. All students will become competent and capable in a range of computing, business and digital information technology concepts and skills.
At KS3 we aim to build a foundation in computing capability in order for all students to be independent uses of computing technology. Students will learn the fundamentals of Computer Science and Digital Technology and gain an insight into newly developing career areas such as cyber security.
In Business, students will learn about branding and marketing and how to target and meet specific customer’s needs. At the KS3, students will be able to make an informed decision regarding which pathway(s) they wish to further pursue in depth at KS4.
At KS4, students will develop an in-depth knowledge of one or more areas within our faculty. We aim for our students to leave with the most up-to-date academic and / or vocational qualifications to fully inspire and prepare them for further study at KS5.
