Ormiston Meridian Academy has a mobile phone app that will help us to bring more information about your child directly to you.

The app is called ‘MyEd’ and is available on both iPhone and Android devices.

Anybody can download the app and access information about the academy.

In order to link your child’s information you will need a current mobile phone number and email address. The mobile phone number must be the number that we have registered as your main contact number on our academy database and you must be a priority one contact.

If you sign up and find that it is not linking to your child, please contact a member of the attendance team 01782 377159. Please note it may take a few hours to link your child’s data as this is updated overnight.

What phone do I need to download the app?

Any smartphone that can install apps from the Google Play Store or Apple Store can download the app.

Is there a charge for the app?

No it is completely free of charge.

Why should I download the app?

The app allows you to access up to date information about your child’s attendance/absence record, their academy timetable and valuable information such as academy holidays, policies, academy news and things going on in the academy, at any time.

You are able to message the academy free of charge via the app.

You will be able to fill in forms securely and send them back to academy electronically in the knowledge that they have arrived safely.

I already have unlimited text messages so I don’t need the app.

The app allows the academy to send you messages free of charge. Any savings that the academy can make can be used to benefit our students in other ways.
