Ormiston Meridian Academy art students’ work to feature in local exhibition.
Ormiston Meridian Academy students Year 9 and Year 10 work has been included in the annual SASCAL Art exhibition at Stoke 6th Form and Head teachers conference. The SASCAL Art exhibition will be moving to it’s third venue, jointly hosted by the Art Stop and Pilgrim’s Pit, in Stoke. All of the student work that has been submitted will be exhibited and will be displayed between the two venues from Tues 4th July – Mon 10th July. The Festival of Stoke is launching the same week and we are thrilled that our students’ work will feature as part of the event.
To celebrate the students’ achievement there will be a ‘private view’ for students, parents and academy staff at The Art Stop on Thursday 6th July at 4.30pm. Refreshments will be available as well as an opportunity to view the display and take part in the Festival of Stoke art trail. The address for the Art Stop is 108 Church Street, Stoke-on-Trent ST4 1BU.
If your work is in the exhibition and you wish to attend the ‘private view’ on Thursday 6th July please let your art teacher know so that they can let the hosts know regarding numbers.
